This page explains how to request deletion of personal data associated with your Musuvi account. It is intended for users, Meta app reviewers, and anyone who connected Instagram to Musuvi.
The fastest way to remove most of your data is to delete your Musuvi account from the app:
Account deletion removes or anonymizes profile data, messages, applications, and stored preferences tied to your user ID, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g. payment records).
To stop Musuvi from accessing new Instagram data without deleting your full Musuvi account:
This revokes Musuvi's authorization via Meta. Cached Instagram insights on Musuvi may remain until your account is deleted or caches expire; contact us below to request removal of cached Instagram data.
If you cannot access your account, email us with the subject line Data deletion request:
Include:
We will verify ownership (e.g. reply from registered email) and respond within 30 days, or sooner where required by law.
When you disconnect Instagram or delete your Musuvi account, we stop collecting new data from Meta. We delete or anonymize Musuvi-stored Instagram tokens, cached insights, and automation settings associated with your account within a reasonable period.
Data already on Instagram (posts, DMs, comments) is controlled by Instagram. To manage data on Instagram itself, use Instagram's apps and websites permissions or Meta account settings.
For Meta app data deletion callbacks, Musuvi processes confirmed deletion requests as described above. Status updates may be sent to the email associated with your request.
We may retain limited information when required by law or legitimate interests, including:
See our Privacy Policy for how we collect and use data, and our Terms of Service for platform rules.
